More about Me

From a young age, I embarked on a creative journey, crafting an array of creations, ranging from board games to humorous illustrations, and even delving into the realm of social media and YouTube channel artwork. However, my true aspiration was to introduce the world to a collection of comical T-shirts—a delightful endeavor that's gradually taking shape.

My preference lies in audacious, provocative, yet always attention-grabbing tees. There's a certain camaraderie in the moment when you spot a shirt, and both you and the wearer share an unspoken understanding of the humor it conveys. As a one-person operation (well, sort of, as I occasionally barter my kids' iPad time for their help), I strive to strike a delicate balance between affordability and top-notch quality, recognizing that I'm a consumer too. Beginning with a modest store and outsourcing design work, DTF (Designs to Funny) posed its share of challenges. In 2023, I decided to invest more effort in quality control and acquired a heat press. With a stash of premium heat transfer materials and a makeshift carport workshop, I'm aiming to outgrow these humble beginnings! If you're a supporter of local Australian businesses, please follow my social media links to become a part of the design and manufacturing journey.

Here's a little insider knowledge the others often don't share: when I initially ventured into this realm, I discovered that companies could print designs and send them directly to customers, which sounded fantastic. However, this process significantly hiked up the production costs, making it challenging to sell a substantial number of tees, regardless of their quality. I also found heaps of funny tees that I thought were original designs, only to do further research and find that these shirts were being dropshipped. I will make it clear that if I dropship a premade item, I will state it in the item description. The closest thing to dropshipping is if I need to ship internationally and I use teespring (the first website host I used) to custom make my design and send on my behalf.

So, I made a conscious decision to invest in myself. Armed with design expertise and an unwavering passion (not to mention a touch of ADHD), I sought out the leader in the T-shirt market, the Gildan 64000 for a Classic Fit. With a deep appreciation for humor and an affection for laughter (the "LOL's"), Nah Yeah Apparel is dedicated to delivering a steady stream of fresh, unapologetically funny designs.
